Semper Fi, and welcome home
As a U.S. Marine veteran, I know the VA home loan benefit is one of the most valuable things you earned through your service. My job is to help you understand it, use it well, and get to the closing table without surprises.
Key features of VA loans
- Down payment flexibility for eligible borrowers, subject to entitlement and lender guidelines
- No monthly mortgage insurance
- Competitive terms backed by a VA guaranty
- Limits on certain closing costs the veteran can be charged
- A VA funding fee applies unless you're exempt (for example, many veterans receiving VA disability compensation)
- Can be used more than once, and in some cases for a 2–4 unit property you'll live in
Who may be eligible
Veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members who meet service requirements, and certain surviving spouses. Eligibility is confirmed with a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), which I can help you request.
VA refinance options
Already have a VA loan? An Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan (IRRRL) may simplify refinancing. A VA cash-out refinance may be available too. See Refinance.
